Today's CABKA has its roots in the RECOVER System Recycling company, founded in 1993. Its targets were the recovery of salvaged materials and the processing of the produced materials into marketable products. The company grew quickly and developed from a recycling company into a successful manufacturer of technical plastic products. By acquiring the companies Cabka Plast and Polyziv, the enterprise incorporated more than 30 years of experience in the production of plastic pallets and other plastic products. Since 2006, the name of the company has been CABKA.


1993
Foundation of the Recover System Recycling and the Replast Kunststoffrecycling companies by the proprietor of the firm and general manager, Gat Ramon. The enterprises succeed in making the running in the development of effective technologies for recovering mixed plastics that are difficult to recycle. The problematic waste was processed into a homogeneous compactate suitable for subsequent treatment in industrial methane production.

1996
Beginning the planning stage of an in-house plant engineering and construction department for the material recovery of old plastics with the aim to convert recycled plastics into marketable products.

1997
Construction of the first material recovery plant. Continuous improvements of the recycling process facilitate the conversion of mixed and dirty plastic waste into a homogeneous regrind in a particularly efficient manner. This regrind forms the source material for a great number of new plastic products.

1998
The first plastic products are manufactured according to injection molding and press-forming procedures, starting from the recycled materials produced. The company CABKA Plast Kunststoffverarbeitung is taken over in 1977 and integrated into the Weira facility.

1999
The in-house toolmaking department is created. From now on, all products are manufactured under the same roof - from the production of raw material and the designing and tool manufacturing to the production of the final product.

2000
Our quality management (QM) has been certified according to ISO 9001:1994. We are now certified according to the current status of ISO 9001:2000.

2001
The first production place outside Germany begins in Israel. The Polyziv Plastics Company, a specialist in manufacturing light-weight pallets of different plastics, founded in 1974, is included in the firm group.

2003
Foundation of CABKA North America in Chicago. The distribution of CPP plastic pallets in the USA begins.

2004
After its successful growth, the in-house toolmaking department is outsourced and becomes an independent company within the group. The System Technik GmbH is founded and manufactures powerful tools also for other companies.

2005
The great demand for CPP plastic pallets requires the construction of our own recycling and production plants in the USA and Canada. The firms and divisions Replast, Cabka Plast and Recover Systems are merged into Recover Systems.

2006
The company is given its current name, CABKA. In the same year, the Polyziv Plastics Company is sold.

2007
Another recycling and production facility is created in St. Louis, USA. CABKA St. Louis Inc. is founded.

2008
Business in Europe is expanded. CABKA Spain is founded and an additional production place in Valencia is created.
