Plastic pallet provider broadens product range

Cabka, a provider of one-way and multiway plastic pallets, headquartered in Weira (Thuringia), has now taken over the business of the Austrian company Pack’nlog GmbH. “With the well-established foldable boxes from Pack’nlog, we are significantly expanding our range of products for materials handling,” says Cabka CEO Gat Ramon. “This means that our customers will also have a wide choice of reusable transport containers.”

The product range includes millions of tried-and-true hinged boxes for automated processes, which are mainly used for dry and nonfood applications. It additionally includes transport and storage boxes for wine bottles, which are well known by end users. “In this way we have also expanded our expertise in process management for reusable transport containers. In the future, we will be able to transfer this to our reusable pallets,” Ramon explains.

With the takeover of the Pack’nlog business, Cabka was able to bring its former owner and CEO Franz Leisch (52) onto the team as Chief Sales Officer for Europe. Leisch has a wealth of experience in developing storage and transport packaging. “My goal is to strengthen activities in the field of reusable pallets and, in close cooperation with our customers, expand the range of load container products to meet their needs,” said Leisch.
